Return and Exchange Policy

30-Day Money Back Return Policy
At Dara's Diamonds, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the unused item in its original condition within 30 days.
  1. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 7 days from the delivery date to postmark the item for a full refund. 
  2. Items shipped between 7 and 30 days from the delivery date are eligible for a refund minus a 20% restocking fee. 
  3. There is no restocking fee for items exchanged after 30 days.


Lifetime Upgrade Policy
In addition to our return policy, we offer you the opportunity to upgrade your diamonds at any time in the future.
  1. There are no additional fees. You just need to pay the difference in purchase price.
  2. Custom or engraved jewelry is not eligible for lifetime exchanges.
  3. Items may only be exchanged for merchandise of greater value from the original purchase price.
  4. Acceptance of damaged items will be at the discretion of Dara's Diamonds.
  5. Exchanges can not be combined with any other promotion or coupon code.


Our Return Process
Once we receive your item and it is accepted, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few business days. Upon receiving your item, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been altered, resized (by a jeweler other than Dara's Diamonds), or damaged in anyway cannot be accepted for return. Engraved jewelry item and custom merchandise may not be returned. Returns without a Dara's Diamonds RMA code, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.
How to Prepare a Return
  • Return Authorization Number (RMA): Call customer service at 888-764--DARA (3272) to let us know that you would like to return/exchange your item. We will give you an RMA number. Write the RMA number in the original invoice that was emailed to you. Returns will not be accepted without this number.
  • Package Your Return: Include all original packaging and collateral material, i.e. appraisal certificate, jewelry box. For security reasons do not write "diamonds" or "jewelry" anywhere on the outside of the box.
  • Insure Your Package:Insuring your package is extremely important. Please also make sure to get a tracking confirmation for your order. On your invoice, if the price of the item you're returning is listed as:
    1. Less than $500: you can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination*.
    2. More than $500: Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail™, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached Dara's Diamonds*.
    3. More than $25,000: High value returns often require special arrangements. We recommend contacting Dara's Diamonds and receive assistance and suggested methods to return your purchase. 
  • Ship the package: Your return/exchange needs to be postmarked within the time frame of our return policy.

  • Tracking: Email customerservice@darasdiamonds.com with your RMA# in the subject line and provide the return's tracking number in the body of the email.



  1. To expedite your return, follow the return process exactly
  2. Returns that do not follow the return process may be refused
  3. Refunds are processed within 4-7 business days from delivery
  4. Items showing signs of wear or those that have been altered, resized (by a jeweler other than Dara's diamonds) or damaged are not eligible for refund
  5. Special order or engraved merchandise may not be returned
  6. Shipping and handling rates are non-refundable. If free shipping was provided, the shipping costs incurred by Dara's Diamonds will be deducted from the return amount.
  7. If a return is sent without the original provided jewelry box or if the original jewelry box is damaged, a $10 penalty will be deducted from the final refund credit.
  8. If your item was delivered with a diamond certificate and that certificate is not returned, you may be liable for a $50 replacement cost.
  9. Dara's Diamonds does not provide return shipping boxes or materials nor pay for return shipping costs.
  10. If an order is cancelled after it has been processed by our system, a 5% fee will be assessed.
